Our group decided to concentrate on the Safe Space topic. The reasons were that we could all relate ourselves to this topic in different ways which made it also personal to us and that the topic was so controversial and brought up a lot of discussion inside our group but also in our class. We decided to name our topic Building bridges because we were all interested in the exchange between different communities and how and when are these communities open to new people, and what happens if a lot of "outsiders" enter?

So we decided to do some field research and go by some safe spaces that we know about in Zürich. The places we visited and observed from outside are listed here:
